MIN QUALIFICATION EFR AND MIN AGE 18 YEARS)

Learn the essentials of CPR and First Aid to assist those in need! The EFR program offers a comprehensive one-day course that equips you with the necessary skills to handle emergency situations. To embark on the PADI Rescue Course, a valid EFR certificate is mandatory.

The Emergency First Response training focuses on empowering lay rescuers, boosting their confidence, and fostering their readiness to respond during medical emergencies. Participants of this course will acquire easy-to-follow emergency care techniques and have the opportunity to practice these skills in a stress-free learning environment. Additionally, self-study manuals, videos, and quick reference cards are provided to facilitate learning and enable immediate progress.

EFR courses fulfill the CPR and first aid training prerequisites for the PADI Rescue Diver course and all professional-level ratings. It is worth noting that a significant number of PADI Instructors are also certified Emergency First Response Instructors.

What to expect

The great thing about EFR courses is they make learning easy by providing a comfortable environment to practice emergency care skills. Your students finish the course feeling confident with their new skills and ready to help someone in need.
The only requirements are that you’re at least 18 years old and have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months. An EFR Instructor rating is required to become a PADI Instructor, but you don’t have to wait until you’re ready to go pro. You can complete or refresh this training during your PADI Instructor training.
